As Central Florida grows so does the possibility that the telephone line that you depend on so much for your security/fire system could be compromised. For example, all circuits could be busy, an automobile accidentally knocks down a telephone pole, a main trunk line is cut by a construction crew, a storm damages lines or someone intentional disables a telephone line. The Ademco transmitter pictured above can send a fire or intrusion alarm signal to the central station through the air to a cellular antenna. A daily test signal is transmitted by this device to verify it is properly functioning.
